Online Nurse Practitioner Post-Master's APRN Certificates

Norwich has designed a suite of Online Nurse Practitioner Post-Master's APRN Certificates to prepare nurse leaders with the education and competencies to become specialized in three different fields:

  • Family nurse practitioner (FNP)
  • Adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (AGACNP)
  • Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP)

By adding an FNP, AGACNP, or PMHNP Post-Master's APRN Certificate to your credentials, you gain the skills to navigate the complexities of an evolving health care system and improve the quality of care provided at the individual and aggregate levels. Program graduates possess the knowledge and skills to function as an advanced practice nurse while exhibiting a profound depth of knowledge in a specific area of practice.

Learning gained through a certificate program will support you in promoting healthier and more sustainable patient outcomes, while positioning you to explore increased responsibilities and greater autonomy in the workplace.

Guided by experienced, doctoral-level faculty, program graduates continue their careers with an enhanced skill set and a greater capacity to use research findings from nursing and other disciplines as a basis for clinical decision-making that promotes confidence, accuracy, and efficiency.
