Curriculum

Norwich University’s online Master of Public Health consists of 12 courses, totaling 42 credit hours. You can earn your degree in as few as one and a half years. Topics covered include response planning and crisis management, global health, research and analysis, and epidemiology.

Much of the coursework includes an added focus on the role of first-responders, military, and veterans in addressing public health issues.

Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
  • Successful completion of the following prerequisite courses:
    • Statistics
    • Environmental science
    • Either an anatomy and physiology course, or an introduction to biology course (with or without lab)
  • You will be required to submit the following items:
  • Completed application form
  • Transcripts from all institutions attended (including Joint Service Transcripts)
    • Transcripts should show successful completion of prerequisite courses
